I have been interested in nature from a young lad. I enjoy photographing the full spectrum of natural history subjects ; birds, mammals, invertebrates, reptiles, wild flowers , orchids, and fungi. I only photograph UK subjects, and I gained my Fellowship to the RPS with a panel of prints of British Fungi. For 25 years I was a full frame Canon user, but towards the end of 2018 I took the plunge and changed to the Olympus Micro Four Thirds system. Doing so re-invigorated my enthusiasm for nature photography. My one regret is that I did not changed sooner. I give a lot of talks to camera clubs and other groups around the country, - more recently via the zoom platform.
